09 Jul Some Place ‘Old’, Some Place ‘New’
The peak of the summer season is also the peak of the wedding season and this upcoming weekend is no exception. With back-to-back events this Friday night and Saturday, I find myself traveling to a familiar favorite and then a wedding location I’ve never visited before.
At Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, they boast the motto – “The Perfect day. The Perfect Place.” For Rebecca and Chris, I’ll be filming both the ceremony and location there which also means we’ll be able to take full advantage of all the grounds have to offer for formal pictures. I have probably filmed at least one event here annually over the last 20+ years and always look forward to returning to Kirkbrae.
On Saturday, I’ll shift to a brand-new venue (at least for me). Timbercreek Resort in Westerly is best known as a vacation spot during the summer months, especially for those looking for a campground/RV destination. They also are home though to a beautiful water location at which the ceremony will take place and ‘activity building’ that I can tell will make for a terrific reception for Doreen and Trevor.
